Interestingly, the BBC don't appear to be putting any spin on it, simply repeating the company's stand, "that negotiations between the two sides had not been moving at the same pace as they had prior to [the break for] Ramadan,". This is further backed up by comment from French sources that they've not yet been approached. We will have to wait and see.
