All Move Again

Unfortunately someone on the ward took a turn for the worst last night so when I got there today the nursing staff had asked Jules if she minded moving out of her side room and into another part of the ward so that that patient's family could have a little peace and privacy. Of course, Jules had no objections so we popped downstairs whilst the staff sorted out the beds.

Jules even wanted to pop outside, so we went for a little wander round the carpark before it got too cold.

Anyway's, can't chat for long as I'm off to take delivery of our tea from the takeaway and get it back to the ward before it goes cold :-D

Julie looks really good in the pictures above, she seems very happy to be around you. I hope she feels as good as she looks. It's a great thing you have done with this website and it means that people who care and are concerned about Julie can stay in touch through here. It is a very difficult task that you have taken on to be the sole carer of Julie, it is not easy to be the decider of the unknown. You are not alone in your pain, frustration and anger although you may feel it. Use your time wisely, this is a healing time not just for Julie and you, but for all of her family. Maybe your decisions will be the right ones and maybe they won't - all you can do is your best - after all you want a life with Julie, not without her - so does it matter what the answer is or where it comes from? You know you want to know you've done your very best for her - if your love is true Julie would do the same for you. I hated my father for 12 years and then one day I wrote him a letter of forgiveness. 3 months later he died - today I remember the good things about him and what he gave me for my life - I don't have to live with the bitterness inside me anymore, I said my peace with kindness and forgiveness - that's healing in itself. Just for one minute look 20 years down the track and looking back what would you wish you had done better?

All the best to you and Julie. Penny
