Was I ever so young?
Found today: An old id card featuring a photograph of myself at age 18. It's strange, I know what I look like - my reflection does it's best to keep pace with me each day - and that's not it. Not now certainly, and I have a hard time believing that I ever appeared such.
I feel old.
Thought iMark at June 23, 2004 11:13 PM | TrackBackNow you know how I felt when you turned up in California with short hair, designer stubble and all dressed in black, having not seen you since your Edinburgh/Disnae days.
For those of you who didn't know Mark as a young 'un (which probably applies to few people reading this), he used to look really quite young. And colourful. And bouncy as all hell.
Actually, head down to your local video rental place and look at the cover of "Big". I saw that picture of Tom Hanks beady-eyeing me in a shop in New Jersey once and made several double-takes as I was convinced it was Mark. I had a picture of him from the Edinburgh days that looked just like it... be darned if I can find it again.
If I may quote messers Koenig and Shatner:
C: "I vos never that young..."
K: "No, you were younger!" \;-)
