Why do painters paint?
Many reasons I guess.
I’ve been searching
for why I paint
for as many years
as I’ve been painting.
But do we really need to know why?
Is it not just enough to have the pictures?
Or does the “why” clarify them?
If it does then maybe the pictures are incomplete.
