Operation Pollinator
the hum heard while walking about in the Bavarian farmlands is not an electricty sub-station, it's a scheme by Syngenta to help nature out a bit.
the idea being [if you'll pardon the pun] to lay down some quality grazing for bees. And it's certainly working, the meadow is thrum with the little buzzers, flitting from flower to flower.
an it sure do look purdy
